AIGA is committed to increasing student involvement in the design community. To make membership even more accessible to students, for six weeks only, full-time students can join or renew online for just $50. This is the same discounted rate that most of our current student members paid last year. Now, you have another chance to get that VERY low rate.
This national student membership drive will occur from mid-September thru October 31. Simply go to my.aiga.org to sign up and save!
Once you sign up and you have received confirmation and your member number, please let Dan Evans know, so he can add you to the official student group roster.

  1. I know this is a silly question but I just have to ask anyways. I've heard of AIGA before, and everyone strongly recommends for students to join it, What I don't completely understand is what exactly do they provide. I know they can be helpful but it's not really clear to me how. Does anyone know? (or have an idea?)

  2. Oh, sweet Daisy. We missed you the other night.
The AIGA can be a great thing to join. As far as the benefits, I'd check 'em out at www.AIGA.org. Also, I don't know if Dan is one of your instructors, but he and Carol would be great to talk to about the AIGA. Especially as a student, it's super cheap.
I'm sure your illustration is looking phenomenal. Have fun with it.
